    Great story! When we bought our first one new, I hoped to get ten years out of it. Now, as it approaches ten years, I'm aiming for fifteen! We loved it so much that we now have a 2014 and a 2015, both with around 30,000 miles. They’ve been by far the easiest and cheapest cars to maintain.

    I completely agree! EVs are getting easier and easier to work on. With all these new tools and the car sharing more data, we'll be able to do more ourselves. Maybe mechanics won't be as needed in the future, especially for routine stuff.

    Absolutely agree. I'd be concerned if oil leaks out of the engine. It definitely wouldn't be coming from the road!
