After replacing the 12V battery in my 451 ED, I encountered an "HV system workshop" error. I had to tow the car to the dealership, where it developed additional issues, including contactors stuck open. The dealership suspects a battery discharge issue, but manual intervention hasn't resolved the problem.

I'm seeking advice on how to proceed, as I'm comfortable working on the car myself, including HV systems. Any suggestions or tips would be greatly appreciated.

Replacing the 12V battery triggering an HV system error is a known issue on some EVs, especially if the system wasn’t properly powered down before the swap. The stuck contactors could be a result of low voltage triggering faults in the system. Double-check the wiring harness and connectors for the HV battery and ensure there’s no lingering power draw causing the discharge issue. If you have the tools, a diagnostic scan for specific fault codes might pinpoint the root cause. You’re already ahead by being comfortable with HV systems, good luck troubleshooting! 💪

Yeah, since you're comfortable with HV systems, I’d suggest checking for any fault codes and inspecting the contactors. Ensure all connections are secure, especially around the 12V and HV systems..
