So, I know some folks doubted Smart bringing the electric Fortwo to the US in the past. But hear me out - the tiny electric Fortwo is really perfect for city life! I'm wondering if they have plans to scale up the deliveries in US market. With gas prices these days, electric is a win-win. Who else is hoping for more Smart electric updates?

I doubt it will. The Mini seems to be the new king of the compact car segment. These little Minis are surprisingly a blast to drive.

I think there’s a solid case for the Fortwo to make a comeback in the U.S., especially with more folks going electric. It’s true it hasn’t always had the strongest market here, but times are changing with EV demand. I’m hopeful we’ll see a push from Smart if gas prices keep trending up!

The Fortwo Electric really is a smart (pun intended!) solution for city living. It’s efficient, easy to park, and doesn’t take up much space. While Smart hasn’t announced U.S. plans, the demand for small EVs could push them to rethink their strategy. If enough people show interest, maybe we’ll see them ramp up deliveries. Gas prices and tighter urban spaces definitely make a strong case for it!
