It's been really cold lately, and my car was outside with the charger plugged in when it snowed a lot. I unplugged it and drove it a bit, but now it won't charge and it's stuck in park. The car starts fine, but I can't get it out of park. Anyone else had this happen in the cold? I'm not sure what to do.

The system may have been impacted by the chilly weather. You can try letting the car warm up for a while. If it doesn't help, I suggest getting in touch with your car's service center.

I’ve had something similar happen last winter. The snow and cold can mess with the charge port, especially if any moisture freezes up inside. Have you tried checking the charging port for ice or debris? If there’s any ice buildup, a hairdryer on low heat can gently warm it up and melt the ice. As for being stuck in park, that could be related to the charging system thinking it’s still connected. A soft reset by disconnecting the 12V battery for a few minutes might help.
